INTERNATIONAL 14th UNDERGRADUATE MEDICAL RESEARCH CONFERENCE

The 11th Annual UMR Conference was successfully held on March 27–28, 2018, under the leadership of Director Dr. Afshan Hussain Khan and UMR Society President Mr. Suleman Khan Afridi. Guided by the theme “Creating Leaders in Health Sciences Research,” the conference aimed to inspire and equip the next generation of healthcare innovators. 

Featuring 71 research projects and over one hundred scientific paper presentations from across Pakistan, the event showcased a wide spectrum of student-led investigations. These spanned dental sciences, medical education, medicine and allied disciplines, mother and child health, and pressing public health issues. Through this diverse scientific exchange, the conference reinforced its commitment to nurturing leadership, and evidence-based practice among future medical professionals.
